PENTAGONITE on HEULANDITE

Wagholi Quarry complex, 20 km NE of Poona, Haharashtra State, India

A spiky 10mm cluster, or 15mm if you measure it along a very cool protruding crystal as in the left hand photo, perched on a 20mm heulandite-coated matrix. Incredible color and crystallization, some twinning visible with magnification, though there is some damage present, which is barely noticeable with the naked eye.
