*DONNAYITE-(Y) - rich specimens with numerous olive green pseudohexagonal tablets to stout barrel-shaped xls of a few mm in size, many showing interesting zoning, perched on off-white dolomite xls. 5cm specimens, $25; MM's $5
DONNAYITE-(Y), Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec - Stout hexagonal barrels in shades of olive greenish on calcite/dolomite xl matrix. Good xls, about 3-6 mm, on matrix, $8, $10, $16
*DONNAYITE-(Y) - 6cm matrices with many small donnayites and one big one, 6-7mm long, $40 each
ELPIDITE - grey prismatic jackstraw xls, rich but none too attractive, $4
ELPIDITE - A rather good matrixless cluster of grey needles, overall 30x15mm, $10
EPIDIDYMITE - brilliant white cleavages from ~10mm across, with yellow calcite and brown lorenzenite; quite interesting for a mineral that's usually very micro, all of these are appreciable with the naked eye. 3-5cm matrices, priced by the size of the cleavages, $5-10 each.
EPIDIDYMITE - small white rough pseudohexagonal twins, some snowflakish, on matrix, $5
EPIDIDYMITE - neat loose twinned xls, 2-4mm across, from the 1973 green hole, $5 each
EUDIALYTE - good small transparent sharp xls, shades of red, pink, $4

EWALDITE, DONNAYITE-(Y) - Cream/gray stout prismatic ewaldite xls with thin clear bright yellow epitactic caps of donnayite, bizarre and beautiful. No xls over about 2mm. 10-20 mm pieces in Euro mm boxes $20 each
FERROCELADONITE - Dark green films, masses, on matrix. Small pieces, 7-15mm, $10 each
FLUORAPATITE - clear colorless sharp small hex prisms, nice, $2
FLUORITE - nice clear pale yellow cubes, $2
*GAIDONNAYITE - small blocky colorless xls, $6
*GAIDONNAYITE - really weird, small clear crystals with white sectors, $8
GALENA - Modest xls in/on matrix. Not rare at MSH but good xls are pretty scarce. $4
GENTHELVITE - Pale yellow/whitish intergrown tetrahedra around 1cm in size, little or no matrix, good specimens of a mineral seldom seen in this size. TN's $30 each
GENTHELVITE - Sharp pale yellow tetrahedra to ~2 mm, most with xls of albite, microcline, aegirine, polylithionite, astrophyllite, natrolite, etc. 15-45 mm pieces, priced by number of genthelvites, from a few xls to many. $8 - $14 each
GMELINITE- various habits, modifications of the basic simple hexagonal tablet; fine sharp clear colorless/brown singles or rosettes, $3
GMELINITE - very unusual rosettes of extremely thin white hexagonal plates, analyzed, $4-10
GYPSUM - fair clear colorless tabular xls, formed by weathering of sulfides, $4
*HAINEAULTITE - Sharp yellow crystals and crystal sections on very small matrices, specimens from 1-5 mm, $20 each. A couple with labels signed by Haineault at $30.

HERCYNITE - Reference specimens, small lustrous black masses in matrix, MM's $10
*HILAIRITE - good to excellent sharp brown transparent xls to a couple mm. A mineral with distinctively wacky crystallography. $10
JAROSITE - earthy yellow coating, very rare at MSH, very small pieces, mostly under 1cm, $10
KAERSUTITE - embedded resinous black phenocrysts of this rock forming amphibole, $3
LABUNTSOVITE - tiny orange prisms on matrix, MM's $10
LEIFITE - excellent silky bright white, solid sprays of needles, around 2cm, no matrix. TNs $10
LEUCOPHANITE - Typical yellow xls to a few mm, mostly quite blocky, small micros with little or no matrix, $5 each
LORENZENITE - good brown sprays of acicular crystals amongst xln yellow calcite.$5
LOVOZERITE - fairly good brown xls, under 2mm on matrix, $15
LUESHITE / LOPARITE-(Ce) (visually indistinguishable) - Small sharp black cubes, under 1mm, mostly embedded in matrix, 1-2cm specimens $15.
MAGNESITE - unusual habit, brown opaque hexagonal prisms with quartz-like terminations, analyzed material, $5
MAGNETITE - black metallic massive spots in matrix, highly magnetic, $3
MARCASITE - very tiny brassy platy xls, seldom seen from MSH. $4

NARSARSUKITE - superb lustrous sharp yellow to green tabular xls embedded in matrix, beautiful stuff, great micros, $4
*NATROLEMOYNITE - Fairly sparse whitish radiating sprays or acicular xln patches to a couple mm embedded in matrix. Recently published in Can.Min. 20 mm specimens $25 each
NATROLITE - fine clear colorless prisms, $2

RHODOCHROSITE pseudomorphs after EUDIALYTE - Small brown, somewhat crude crystals, replaced by solid rhodochrosite, the exteriors a druse of tiny rhodo xls, the original eudialyte xl form still appreciable. 10-25mm TN's, $15 each
RHODOCHROSITE - beautiful red rhombs to 2mm or so, $3
RHODOCHROSITE, ELPIDITE, ALBITE pseudo after? - NEW PIX! - Damage-free red rhombs to 17mm across in a chain with a bit of acicular white elpidite hiding here and there. The 'matrix' is actually a large, 45x15mm incomplete pseudomorph of white xln albite after some unknown mineral. Quite an interesting miniature! 50x25x20mm, $175

RUTILE ps ILMENITE - unusual very thin, brown-black hexagonal plates, $4
SABINAITE - fair clear colorless to pale yellow platy xls, only locality known for xls, $15
SERANDITE - good pink/orange micro xls, $4
SERANDITE - Thumbnails: The classic thin tabular pink version of Saint-Hilaires most famous mineral. 25-30mm crystals, mostly multiple xls or sheaves of xls, all terminated but none absolutely perfect, $12 each. A nice blocky xl, 14x9x9mm, well formed and terminated but with a bruised front edge and some nasty coatings here and there obscuring the orange color, $12. The best of the lot: a super-lustrous parallel grouping of blocky orange crystals, overall 25x20mm, with a doubly terminated but dinged 14mm xl on the side, intergrown with a couple of small leifite xls and micro mangan-neptunite on the right side, contacted on the bottom of the main aggregate and the side of the dbl termd xl. A nice, chunky TN of a modern classic, $45
SHELDRICKITE on SHORTITE - Very small amounts of distinctive, somewhat pearly, flaky white sheldrickite, maximum size a couple of millimeters, on yellow massive shortite, mostly without rock matrix. A rare carbonate. Very sparse 2-3cm specimens, $30 each
SHORTITE crystals - good 3-4cm specimens of massive shortite with relatively crude prismatic shortite crystals to a few mm long, quite rare, priced by quantity and quality of crystallization, $20-$30
SHORTITE - TN sized bright yellow chunks, great sulfur-yellow color, only $10 each
SIDERITE, QUARTZ pseudo after AEGIRINE - Unterminated brown prisms of siderite and other minerals sharply replacing aegirine prisms, 6-8cm long, no matrix, cool and unusual! $15 each
SIDERITE, ANKERITE, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec - typical sharp brown rhomb, loose,12mm across, with a thin skin of epitaxial lighter brown ankerite, $5. A 25mm xl, shades of brown, sans ankerite coating, the main face, triangular, being either a modification of the basic rhombohedron which I cant figure out or a product of twinning, as in the Min. Rec. MSH issue photo on p.338. Not pretty but interesting, $6.

SODALITE - color change, colorless to purple/pink with SW UV, spotty, veined mssv, $5-10
SPHALERITE - small black, brown xls, $2
STEACYITE - A nice little brown twin on matrix, old specimen, $25
STEENSTRUPINE-(Ce) - small embedded resinous brown masses, $10
SUGILITE - Small pale purple fragments, mostly under 5mm, $8 each.

Good to excellent sharp yellow xls closely associated with small amounts of acicular radiating white adamsite-(Y). Two type locality rare species for the price of one! $30TITANITE - reference specimens with modest, small xls, $3
TUGTUPITE - Crude pink octahedra a mm or two in size in vugs. Matrix sizes from 5 to 50mm, $30 each
TUNDRITE-(Ce) - Small patches to a few mm of yellow-green acicular xls, 2cm matrix, $25.
TUPERSSUATSIAITE - Small golden brown acicular sprays, flat-lying on small fragments of pale purple sugilite, no rock matrix, nothing over 5mm, $10
USSINGITE - Good colorless blocky/tabular xls lining vugs, mostly 2cm matrices, $20
VESUVIANITE - palest yellow acicular to thicker prismatic sprays to a few mm, $5 - $10 (superb!)
VILLIAUMITE - mssv red/pink cleavages, mostly loose, some in matrix, water soluble, $3; red/black cleavages of 1cm or more, TNs $10, larger $20
VUONNEMITE, EUDIALYTE, SERANDITE - Platy pale yellow mass to 6mm, 40x30x20mm, $20
ZAKHAROVITE - Brownish/yellow massive on matrix; ~2cm specimens $25, one unusually rich @$40
