DRESSERITE, DAWSONITE, Francon Quarry, Quebec

A group of off-white xl balls, each about 3mm across, altogether about 10mm across, with minor micro dawsonite, on sawn matrix. Magnification reveals the dresserite xls making up the spheres are nicely terminated. A couple of other balls are split open, revealing the bright white radiating xlization. The most aesthetic dresserite specimen I have ever seen. This is a mineral that hardly ever gets big, from the type locality, which is now essentially defunct.

25mm across, TN, $90
