BAR55 - BARITE, Elmwood Mine, near Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee

A hardball-sized xl sphere, off-white/pale yellowish and undamaged, on a few shards of matrix that are coated with small dolomite and quartz xls. There's even a tiny little sphalerite xl present. Very weird and classy piece, quite an unusual habit for the mineral. The sphere is 70mm; overall 120x80x70mm.  $139
