AMETHYST, Pine Grove District, Beaver County, Utah

A weird specimen from a state not renowned for its amethyst production. Basically a trio of nice xls, sort of doing the reverse-scepter thing, to 35x15mm, colors ranging from white to pale purple, opaque to clear at the tips. No matrix; even the bottom side is cool.
